Adult Volunteers

Volunteers are the absolute heart and soul of Bentley Scout Group.
We couldn’t run our broad and engaging schedule without the time and effort our members put in throughout the year. And why do they do this you may ask?

Because it’s fun!

Scouts isn’t like school, there are no rules here! (well there are, but you know what I mean) We aim to provide a fun, adventurous, inspirational programme of events for our young members and in doing so it can’t help but be a truly enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved.

When you volunteer with Bentley Scouts you can give as much or as little of your time as you wish. We have volunteers that show up week-in & week-out and all the camps, but we have also have a number that join us for a few nights a term helping ensure the evening runs smoothly or just the camps and trips.

Scouts is a place where every week should be something inspiring for our kids. We are always looking for new and exciting hobbies, activities and topics that the kids can experience first hand. If you have a skill, passion or pastime that you’d like to share why not get in touch and come down to share it.

Even if you’re not used to volunteering with kids, or not sure how it might be turned into a scout evening, please still get in touch! We’ll bring the experience, you bring the passion. If you have a passion there will be a child out there that you will inspire and the rest of us might even learn something too!

Now we’ve got you hooked feel free to get in touch with us at admin@2ndbentleyscouts.org.uk, from there we can put you in touch with the right section leader for you to begin your Scouting Adventure!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
